Showtunes returns to Benaroya Hall from March 23-25, 2018 with a concert production of The Boys from Syracuse, music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, and book by George Abbott. You won’t believe how many songs you know from this adaptation of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors, including “This Can’t Be Love,” “Sing For Your Supper” and “Falling in Love with Love." This fantastic, fun comedy is based around one of the most classic plots of all, the mistaken identity. They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore. This show is produced by Showtunes Theatre in association with Village Theatre, and is being presented as part of the city-wide “Seattle Celebrates Shakespeare” festival this spring. We’re thrilled to be joining the whole Seattle arts community in celebrating Shakespeare and bringing to our patrons of the most successful musical adaptations of his work.
